Coming to your question. My society is more open than in Rabia's case, so phone calls are the norm, supervised home visits. Unless the couple come from conservative or rural backgrounds, engaged couples do go out for lunch or cinema. But the level of intimacy is kept very low, even holding hands would be considered inappropriate and definitely no dirty talk. Personally, I'm prudish so I'd be uncomfortable even with romantic talk.
