So finally updating this today!
A long big first part!

Part 1

"So what did you decide to do?" The voice from the other side of the line asked.
"No way on this earth I'm going to test that to find if its infatuation or love!
I know I love him and that's all!"
"Cho! It's for your good that I'm telling this dear!
You are not going to be attached to him for forever, it's just a test of few seconds and you will know the result! And what can be better than doing this under the fireworks, in the dark, in an alone place?"

*** Should I reconsider my thoughts or just go with the flow? ***

"Imi! It's risky you know that!"
"I know but you need to grip the chance which is getting to you! Cho! Nothing will go wrong!
Just a kiss and that's it!"
"Just a kiss!" She repeated shaking her head.

*** A kiss which might turn the frog into a Prince can also turn my life into Hell! ***

"All you need to do now is breath well and think how to execute the plan we made!"
"You are not going to leave me if I don't do what you wanted, so okay Miss. Imli! I will try to do focus on my target!"
"That's like my girl Chakor dear!" And the friends bid adieu for now over their conversation!

*** I have said I will focus on my target but where is my target and what is he doing? ***

Getting up from her bed, she checked herself in the mirror before not only exiting her room but also her house as she entered the porch of the house next to hers.

> Chakor's POV <

This is not going to happen!
Just being here in front of his house door is stressing me to the point I can get an attack?
How am I going to do what I ... No no we wanted to do?
Yeah! It was entirely Imi's idea first and then I took it over it!

"Why are they taking this much time to open this damn door?"

"Coming! Coming!" This voice says something! I know this voice.

"Hey!" He smiled at me as he opened the main door!

He! Suraj Rajvanshi! My Ex best friend even if we had 2-3 years difference!
He went for his higher studies and got new friends and forgot me.
In the starting we talked every day, then thrice a week, then twice which by the end of the first year ended in nothing.
And he didn't come to his house since the day he left.
He took a part time job and weekend work and stayed there for forever.
It's only Uncle, Aunt and Vivu who went there time to time to see him.

"Hi!" I said.

I don't want to talk to him.
Seeing him after three years had no effect on me as the distance was not only in Kms but also in communications.
"How are you?" he asked.
"Good!" I said with a smile "Where is he?" I asked.
"In his room!" pointing towards the upstairs.
I smiled a simple smile and ran towards the stairs, feeling his stairs on my back.

Vivu! His brother, Vivaan is the man I'm in love with!
Well you can ask how come I came to the conclusion.
I feel happy whenever he is there, I like to share everything with him except the fact I started to have feelings for him and a small list of things that are so so common between us which made me to come to the conclusion that I'm in love with Vivu.

"Chakor!" He said adjusting his tee "Can't you knock before entering! What if I was doing something?"
"I would have the pleasure to witness it!" I said winking at him as I settled myself on the bed "Going somewhere?"
"Going to get a bike for me!" Checking his wallet.
"Bike! What happened to your jeep?"
"It's bro's!" He stated and I remembered something.
"What is the purpose of this sudden appearance of your brother?"

> Suraj's POV <

How much time should I wait for him?

"Vivaan!" I called out when the doorbell rang.

Who can it be at this time of the day?
And there I heard a voice!
The voice which keep on ringing in my head since that day.
The voice which is like a music to my ears.

Opening the door, I saw her.
Chakor! Chor, that's how I called her since the time she started to steal my choco bars when we were young.
She didn't change!
Still the same bubbly, cute and beautiful girl she is.
I would say she has become more and more gorgeous with time.

"Hey!" I said with a smile.

She didn't react quickly, I think she didn't expect me here.

Yeah!
It's been 3 years I stepped in this house, my home sweet home.

"How are you?" I asked.
"Good!" She said with a smile "Where is he?" She asked.
"In his room!" pointing towards the upstairs.
She smiled a simple smile and ran towards the stairs while I kept in starring at her retreating form.

Why is she so formal?
May be with time she will be back to her habitual things!
Is she angry with me?
But in that case she would last on me!
May be she has changed! Yeah! That can be the reason.

Shaking my head, I headed upstairs to fetch my lazy brother who is speaking with his lazy friend.
They are so similar.
Both are lazy, foodies, choco lovers, partners in crime and I can pile on with the similarities.
I still don't know how they successfully passed their undergraduate diploma. A big mystery!

> Chakor's POV <

"To be with us!" He replied.
"Oh!" Settling comfortably on his bed "So why didn't he visit us during all these years?"
"Ask him yourself!"
"Ask whom? What?" Suraj questioned as he entered his brother's room.
"Not you!" I snapped as I don't like when my conversation gets interrupted. And that too with Vivu.
"You just snapped me!" He neared the bed as I faced him with 'So what?' look.
"The only common behaviors of you both is to snap at each other and enter my room without knocking! So nothing new in that!"

Shaking his head and checking the time, he faced his brother "Are you ready? You are taking as much time as Chor, brother!"
"Don't call me Chor!" Folding my hands over my chest "And I don't take a lot time to get ready now!" And turned on the opposite side as I murmured "Needed to be here to know me well!"
"Before you looked okay but now I know the reason why you look so bad!" And turned to his brother "Come!"
"Bad!" Me looking bad! What will be Vivu's thought.
I gathered all the strength to be as normal as before and here, this Hulk is making everything look bad.

I checked myself on the mirror "I look good! Normal, more than what you look like with this beard!"
"Oh come on please! I want my bike, so please stop your drams!"
"If you were as quick as Chor, I think we would have already bought a bike for you." in a sarcastic way.

Ouff! He is not going to change!
But oh who am I talking about!
He changed, so all is possible.

"Come with us!" Vivu said me.
"What is she going to do there?"
"Whatever! What's your problem?" I snapped again.
Shrugging his shoulder, he got out of the room and we followed.

He is really a terrible friend. Ex-friend.
Note it down! He is bad! And bad only!

> Suraj's POV <

Who are they talking about?
"Not you!" she just snapped at me! Me! Suraj Rajvanshi.
"You just snapped me!" she is a so well behaved girl I can say, you see!
"The only common behaviors of you both is to snap at each other and enter my room without knocking! So nothing new in that!" Vivaan! He needed to shut his mouth, I would have made her say sorry! I mean I would have at least tried!

She didn't change.
She is still the same!
"When are you going back?" twisting few strands of her hair in her hand.
I smiled as I replied "Three years of exile wasn't enough that you want me to go away?" I know that it wasn't exactly a reply but it has been three years that I didn't meet her and I still feel the same vibe for her, so a playful talk is not a bad thing.
"Whatever!" she replied.

We cannot move an inch with her if she keep on attacking.
What did I do to come in her bad notes?
Need to find out.
Why is she so preoccupied by her beauty and all when she wasn't like that earlier?
Is she in... No No! She must be looking at mirror and all as she needs to be in fashion with her friends.

"Come with us!" he proposed her.
"What is she going to do there?" I asked as I wanted to spend some alone time with Vivaan, to know him and to know her too.
"Whatever! What's your problem?" this girl!
Shaking my head and shrugging my shoulder, I left from there and they followed my suit.

Once inside the store, for whatever I said, she tried to put her nose in it to say her views!
Why is she behaving like this?
Anyways, we got to book a bike and left from there.

"So bro! Tonight you are free!"
"Free for?" I asked.
"He is asking as if he is a stranger to this place!" She commented.
"Please don't start again!" My brother.
"I'm being quiet just for you!"
"Thank you so much!" She mocked.
"Where next?" He asked.
"Ice cream!" I proposed and her face just bright up like never before.
"Okay?" He turned and asked her.
"Hmm hmm!" She replied as if she was not so interested but okay to go.

And from there, we headed to my favorite Ice cream spot. Well it is her fav too.
"What would you like to have Mam?" She was asked.
"One chocolate fudge and one vanilla!" She stopped and turned to face me "Is it still vanilla or that also changed like you?" She questioned.
I smiled at her question and said "Always same!"
"As if!" She murmured and faced Vivaan "Which flavor you are going to try?"
"Mango and choco!"
She then turned back to the counter side "As said before, one chocolate fudge, one vanilla and one mango chocolate please!" She finished.

"So what is it tonight?" I asked.
"Out of place for few years and forgot all the traditions!" she commented as we took our place but I'm no more in a mood to do a battle.
"City Spring Day bro!"
"Oh yeahh"
"Oh yeahhh" she mocked.
She is lucky that our order came, else WW3 would have happened here.
After that they took a cab from there as I left to meet my friends.
"Be on time bro!"
"I will try!" I screamed before leaving from there.

> Chakor's POV <

He really lost his taste bud I think.
He think he is best in whatever he does, but nope!
He is missing something!
He doesn't know the reality of things now.

With all the tantrums he was throwing around, we got however to book a bike of my taste!
Well! If it is going to happen as I wish this evening, then that bike will be a part of my life too.
Even if it's not like a jeep, it is a bike I like.

And from there we went to have ice-creams and I was so happy that we came to a place where we used to hang out a lot.
Well, it was me and him, not Vivu as Vivu is not sooo fond of ice-creams.
All the lovely moment of our friendship in this restaurant made me only hate him now.
He is so distant to me that I even hate to talk to him.
But what to do. He is Vivu's bro and my ex-friend.
So have to adjust a bit.

"So what is tonight?" he asked.
I can't believe he forgot everything.
Well yeah! When he can forget his best friend, he can forget anything.
I wanted to blast his head, but luckily Ice-creams came.
So how can I waste a sec on him when I have important work to do?

Once finished, we paid our order and left from there.
"I'm going to meet Deepak! Get a cab as planned!" he said.
"What as planned?" I asked.
"Him going to meet his friend after booking bike!" Vivu.
"Oh!" I knew it. You see. Even now he is leaving us mid-way!
Hate him! Hate him!

"Be on time bro!" Vivu screamed.
"It is better if he doesn't come!" I murmured as I was checking for OLA.

"So you ready for this evening?" I asked Vivu as we were heading back home.
"As always!" showing his teeth "Ready to enjoy." and we were already in our street.
"What colour wearing?"
"Didn't choose!" he shrugged "May be white!" he said.
"Hmmm" I smiled as I got out.
"See you then!"
"See ya!"

Time was going so so so slow since I left him.
I have already did my hair, ready and all and it is just 6 PM.
Oufff
I think Imi is also as panicked as me.
Well! She has too as this is her idea.

Helped Mom to get the dinner basket ready.
Helped dad to clean his car and still the time is 7 PM.
Finally, Imi showed up!

"What took you this much time?"
"You!" she replied.
"What?" taking place in the hall.
"To execute our plan!"
"Oh!"
"Are you sure it is his spot?"
"Yup!"
"Since like 2-3 years!"
"Take your time! Don't panic! Just think of your motto and all will be at ease."
"Hmmm Yup!" I said.

"Shall we go girls?" my Dad asked taking the food basket.
"Yeah!" we said in unison as we got up.

The time we reached the park, it was already 8 PM and Vivu's family was there except his bro.
"Where is Suraj?" my Dad asked uncle.
"He will be here by midnight!" Uncle replied.
"Having dinner with his friends bhaiya(brother)!" Aunt added.
"Oh okay!" Dad.

We all had dinner, chatting around the fire.
We were not the only families present, there was also few more on the side we are.
This park is the biggest park of our city.
Here! Every year! The city get to do a magical show with fireworks.
I love to assist them.
And if all goes well, this year will be a special one.
Fingers crossed.

"Are you ready Cho?" Imi whispered in my ears.
I nodded as stress started to build in my system.
"Aunt!" she called my Mom "We are going for a small way over the river!" she added as we got up.
"Okay kids! Take care!"

And we went to hide behind a tree, just a few feet away from his spot.
Him! Vivu!
"He is coming!" I said as my stomach flip-flopped seeing him nearing his spot in the darkness.
"Are you sure it's him?"
"Yeah! White shirt! Folded arms!" my heart beat start to rise up.
"Then! I think it is time for action! Go!" she pushed me out of the tree while he was standing near the small lake, his back to us.
I checked my watch and only 1 minute or so left for the fireworks to start.
"All the best!" she showed her thumbs up.
"Hmm!" I tried to plaster a smile and moved forwards.

Each step looked like thousands of mile.
Holding my heart in hand, I stood just one step away from him.
I think he sort of felt my presence as his relaxed body straightened.
Is it also love to feel the presence? Do I need to do the stunt?
I turned towards the tree to see my friends showing her hand, asking me to do what I came to do.
I sang in my head 'No going back! No going back!'
And when I saw him turn, I stepped in front of him, held his collar in this dark night, pulled him a bit down with all the force I had as I smashed my lips to his to just kiss him with my eyes closed.
A simple kiss.
But then I wanted more, I don't know why.
His hand took hold of my left hand as his other hand went to my cheek.
It was like he wanted this too.
But then with the fireworks starting and children enjoying around us, I came back to earth.
I didn't want to see.
I didn't want to see his reactions.
So with my eyes still close, I broke the kiss and pushed him away and turned on my heels as I took off from there.

"My bracelet!" I said as I got to my friend and hugged her.
"He likes me!" with my horse like heart "He kissed me back!"
"Come let's go back before he gets back there!" she said pulling from the hug. "We will come tomorrow to check for your bracelet."
I nodded and followed her.
"So are you happy?"
"Hmmm!" I smiled.
As we neared, I saw my Dad was having his hand around a man in white.
"I think Suraj came!"
"Possible!" she said as we approached.
"So girls! Enjoyed the Roman candle?" Uncle asked as he got up when we were 7 steps away from them.

He still calls the fireworks, Roman candles!
And I find it cute.
"Yeah!" we both said.
"Wanna have something?" he, the man in white shirt asked as he turned with both of our jaws dropping down.
It was like seeing a ghost.
As the question was asked by none other than Vivu himself.
If he is here, who was there?
