ALTBalaji: the OTT platform from the
stables of Balaji Telefilms, ably helmed
by Ekta Kapoor, will soon stream a hard-
hitting, engaging courtroom drama which
is tentatively based on the K. M. Nanavati v.
State of Maharashtra case. Audience has
already seen its adaptation on the big
screen in the Akshay Kumar starrer movie
Rustom.
Now, IWMBuzz team has learnt that the
above project, titled The Verdict-State vs
Nanavati, is being spearheaded by
Subhash Kapoor (Jolly LLB) and Samar
Khan.
To do justice to the plot, talented
performers Manav Kaul (Tumhari Sullu)
and Jim Sarbh (recently seen in Sanju)
have been brought on board.
A source adds: "Manav Kaul will play role
of Kawas Nanavati. Jim Sarbh will play the
lawyer of Nanavati. It's going to be a
gripping narrative.
We bet, it will be.
IWMBuzz.com texted Ekta Kapoor from
ALTBalaji to seek a comment but did not
revert till the time of filing the article.
We will soon come up with more updates.
