Namit Malhotra now just wants to release his film and cut his losses. He is spending 15 million of his own money,in addition to Sony's 25 M on promotions. Add Dharma's contribution.IT is simply not enough. Right now he is depending on the film release to earn. He hasn't got any OTT buyers yet.

What looks clumsy to us,is just DNEG trying to find more buyers ,before releasing the film. They are focusing on distribution for now.
