Just in case you are interested, the names in the Tamil version are

Buaji said Aiyyo Kadavule at the start, which means Hey Bhagwan (Oh, God). Have to see if she continues with that or an alternative to Nand Kishore comes out later on.

Devi Maiyya is Amma Thaaye

Arnav is Ashwin, Arnav Singh Raizada is being referred to as Mr.Ashwin

Khushi is Shruti

Payal is Priya

Anjali is Anjali

For Tamilians, along with their first names, they add their father/husband's names. Some do add names of their native town or caste, but it is mostly a combination of first name and father/husband's names. I was thinking the Tamil character of ASR would drop his father's name and add his mother's name instead. But it seems he seems to have decided to carry on just with the first name. Let's see if it continues so or anything is added to the name later on.

Btw, the dubbing is not bad. I liked all the female voices. Arnav's voice is good too, much better than the one in Telugu. But the lines in English continue to disappoint.

Durga I am glad that you watched... But I couldn't 😔 I couldn't bunk today... Tomorrow hopefully I would watch it... They could have better asked IPKKNDians for names suggestions... Deeps thread actually had better names...

Devi Maiyya - Amma thayye 🤣 I would forgive anything but this one My mom called me after watching it & suggested 'Devi Durga' or 'Durga Devi'... It reminded me of you😊 She infact asked me to write to vijay tv to request a change 😆 I was shocked that my mom is telling that... When I crazily mailed SP last year, she called me crazy & stop being foolish... But now she is actually asking me to do it 😆

Back to IPK tamil, I won't be surprised if they use 'laad labakdaas' 🤣 I think they will definitely use surnames... Let's see what S & R stand for... Ashwin, Sruthi & Priya not bad... It is easy to compromise with everyone's voices; but Barun's voice modulation, his husky voice & english ☺️ No one could make a simple aloo pakoda recipe sound like he did 😛

And I wish IPK saga to continue on television forever ⭐️ Hope Star utsav re-telcasts our IPK...
