The story is not following Manasamangal.Chnadsadagar's(banik Chandradhar's)sons were drowned into the river as their boats carrying merchendise capsized in storm created by Manasa.The place is named kalidaha.The story is much known in Bengal.Film ,opera ,plays etc have been made on the story.Why alter it?It has much dramatic elements in it .

they are ruining manasamangal story too, manasa kept all the bodies to her and later returned all those 6 sons of chandradhar, also lakhindar was a baby when all 6 sons drowned here he is grown up and his name they made lakshmichandra
