Beautiful locations, unique concept of submitting Everest, back ground music, every character and their interesting purposes to learn mountaineering and most importantly first episode immeditely caught my attention and the suspense of what will happen at mount everest submit has hook me to watch SP at 10pm slot. I always make sure to watch this drama regularly and this is the second time i am taking so interest in drama after my mos favorite show IPKKND.

EVEREST ROCKS!

I agree with most people about why Everest is watchable.

Although romance track is present it isn't coming across as forced; Akash isn't an obsessive stalker type lover, whilst Anjali isn't the annoying, patronising heroine.

She's a modern, smart yet cultured girl. I loved the scene where she was trying to avoid being known as the girl who sneaked into the Colonel's office as it seemed so normal and natural. She isn't a braggart but either is she a retiring meek person.

The location is gorgeous and the supporting cast are entertaining. The whole training camp with their coaches, guides, and teams comes across as a college setting for adults.

We have the popular guy in Arjan, the beauty Queen in the wannabe actress, the geek in the guy who quotes mountain facts and the Colonel is the fierce headmaster.

Plus the best fact no OTT dressing up and loony MIL tormenting her DIL!

-No saas bahu drama
-no heavy jewellary and fancy sarees
-natural and refreshing story
-no scary bg music
-very well executed scenes and normal dailogues

1. Unique concept of a moutaineer's ultimate dream...to climb the Everest

2. Mostly outdoor scenes, NIM campus is lovely, stunning cinematography

3. Interesting characters of the 3 main protagonists, each with his/ her own back story and motive for climbing Everest

4. Good direction, natural acting, overall a natural feeling, like a breath of fresh air

5. A R Rehman's soothing background music that doesnt overpower the senses.

6. Akash and Anjali both are kind, sympathetic, likeable characters.

Negative: Today's episode- didnt like the entry of the 5 Black Horses, the a biker's gang, they dont fit into the story, they are loud, OTT characters.
