No if it s done then Everest will loose its THE purpose. Arjun's everest is actually to come out of his past. That is his challenge and he has to beat it by being part of the expedition.

How can he leave him while story revolves around 3 leads??

SO arjun has to be there and he will surely make it!!
And yeah one more thing arjun is the main guy for Everest though this story revolve around the three but arjun nahi hota toh shayad hi Akash anjali would have met shayad hi anjali would have got a sponsorer and shayad ho they would have come for the expedition
