Pooja Bhatt and her husband Manish Makhija have called it quits.

Bollywood actress turned director, Pooja Bhatt and her husband Manish Makhija (former Channel V VJ and restaurateur) ended their marriage after 11 years of being together. The former actress confirmed the news on Twitter. The eldest child of director Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt married Manish in 2003. The two met on the sets of film Paap' and got married in Goa. There have been rumours about their divorce previously, but this time the actress broke the news herself in a series of tweets.

Though the couple has parted ways, but the two are likely to be working together since Manish is composing music for Pooja's next film Cabaret'.

This is so weird - I saw Pooja's mug on the I-F front page a couple of days back and was wondering if she and Makhija were still together. And now this.

I used to love Makhija's Udham Singh act - he could pull off a Haryanvi accent like no other. Didn't know he composed music too.
