It is not only Everest dey, everything is like that. In a way symbolically they are highlighting the treatment of woman in our society
Some respect the ladies in their life as wives, mothers, sisters, friends etc and understand them as individuals
Others use her as a means to gain wealth and power.
Then there are some others who thinks she is just an item to be use materialistically by involving her in human trafficking, treating her shabbily inflicting both physical and emotional pain.
Each time the warning comes people don't heed to it. Now there are many places in India where guys are finding it difficult to get brides. But warnings are still unheeded. Female foeticide, child marriage etc,, still happen rampantly ignoring the adverse effect.
