Priyanka:I will miss Rajeev--Article

W e caught up with Cadet Naina aka Priyanka Bassi at the Left Right Left bash. "It feels great to be associ- ated with a show like this.. it has such a gripping story," gushes the Delhi girl. But she's quite upset about co-star Rajeev Khandelw- al's exit from the show. She says her character, Naina, would definitely be lost with- out her pillar of strength, Captain Rajbir (Khandelwal). "My character depended so much on him and now she'll have to move on." Moving on And will she, Priyanka Bassi, miss him as well? After all, much has been written about the duo's off screen chemistry as well. Bassi turns just a little red before confessing, "We share a different bond.. it can't be explained. Rajeev is a beau- tiful person and words are not enough to define him. I will certainly miss him a lot." One hasn't really seen her in any other show. Why? Bassi claims that she has received a lot of offers but none as exciting as her role in Left Right Left. Predictably, she has been offered saas-bahu shows too but turned them down because she believes she isn't cut out for them. Next, we move on to her other co-star, Vikas Manak- tla, who's been in the news for all the wrong reasons. "None of that was true," asserts Bassi, "He is an amazing person and we're very close friends." Ooh, so then.. "No, that's it," she says firmly. Okay, Khandelwal's too special to put in words and Manaktla's a good friend. Is there someone else? "Well I was seeing some one long time back. But now there's no one in my life," she says before hurrying off to grin some more for the snaparazzi.
