well i dont agree. More than 8 posts per page wud make it difficult to load pages.

You generally are able to modify it based on your preference. I personally have signatures set to being not visible, so would prefer having more posts per page (so I don't waste time changing the page every minute).

I think the best solution is with the scroll. Some Forums already use it.
