Tara assumes that Sagar is in love with Ganga. Sagar's cousin gives his consent to building the school. Sagar tells Shekhar to fix his engagement as and when he wants. Tara tells Ganga that Sagar's feelings may hold the key to her escape from the clutches of Madan and Bua.
