Its got a lot more to do with looks. His Father had the charisma the vision and the persona and the mind, fardeen had nothing he was a dry boring man he had to fade soon or later

I had a crush on him at the beginning...he was suave...didn't like his dad..though mum did...but Bobby Deol and Fardeen Khan make me laugh every time they dance..especially Fardeen at the beginning of his career...
