Madhuri in Abhishek Varman's next?

Mads to join the Shiddat cast

There has been a lot of buzz about Two States director Abhishek Varman's next film Shiddat. The period drama, earlier titled Kalank, is a love triangle and will star Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. The latest addition, according to sources is Madhuri Dixit-Nene. She had earlier done the item song Ghagra in Karan Johar's production Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. But this time she has bagged a role. Wonder if she is playing mom? Just a couple of years ago, she'd refused to play mom to Sonam Kapoor.
