Nandini's mistake

Nandini's mistake is in underestimating the depth of feeling Akshay has for Neeti and to some extent Vijaya. This might actually be the cause of her downfall. Akshay really loves Neeti and regards her as his daughter even if biologically she isn't. So Nandini needs to be very careful about how much jealousy she exhibits to Akshay when he hugs Vijaya in the wake of Neeti's successful surgery. For all we know, Akshay might just be hugging Vijaya just in relief at the news but Nandini would interpret it differently. I think if she just gives a hint that she just wants Akshay without Neeti, Akshay might actually reconsider how much he wants to be with Nandini.

Nandini is acting completely out of character... She has no problem in barging into Akshay's house & also threatening him by giving ultimatums & what not...
