As per Vijaya, even if Akshya proposed her, Vijaya never questioned him, never tried to know or go deeper into issue as per why Akshya is marrying her...is it out of pity...you said she did not know about Nandini...but she could have asked IF AKSHAY HAS SOMEONE IN LIFE...AFTER THAT SHE WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT AKSHYA IS RUINING HIMSELF, HIS LIFE AND HAPPINESS ALONG WITH OSMEONE ELSE AND SHE SHOULD HAVE REFRAINED FROM MARRYING HIM...ANYONE CAN PROPOSE..BUT WE SHOULD NOT TAKE WRONG ADVANTAGE...JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE'S DOOR IS OPEN DOES NOT MEAN WE CAN STEAL...one who does is opportunist..she took advantage of Akshay's conscience.
