Episode 1397 Chehre pe chehra aired on 10th December 2016 (Saturday)

Case Title: Chehre pe chehra

Precap: Acp sir said koi maitri ko kyu marna chahta hai aur maitri kisi ko dekh nahi sakti. To kaun hai ye bina chehre wala admi. Maitri stabs knife to someone and shocked.

Today's storyline- Purvi gets a call from her friend who is in danger and so they begin an investigation to find out who is after life. However, they soon realise that the case is more complicated than they thought.

Very nice and interesting case.

Then we were taken to a scene few days earlier. Purvi is sitting in a cafe talking on the phone when she sees that girl (named Maitri), her friend, walk in with a tensed expression. She walks past purvi's table but doesn't talk to her. So purvi goes to her and asks her why she didn't talk. Again a man with a walking stick walks by and maitri becomes very afraid and asks purvi to protect her. It just turns out that it is some random blind guy walking around.

In the bureau, she informs that she has been getting threat calls, in which she is threatened to return 2 crore rupees, an amount owed by her bf ravi else she would get killed. She is also threatened by that person with walking stick with a blade when she was getting back from the hospital once.

The team go to a perfume expert who makes maitri smell different perfumes and she recognizes one sandal attar as the one used by that man. Meanwhile, Freddy finds that Ravi was into betting in horse races and probably he lost a lot of amount in that due to which he was tensed days before he died. Maitri's call records tell that she had been getting calls from some pay phones. Acp wonders why a pay phone was used and concludes that it was done to hide identity.

Abhijeet and Freddy go to that office only to find a stock market agent office but a betting place in a hidden section behind a cupboard.

The team finds out that maitri gets afraid of whoever comes close to her dressed in that manner since she can't see the face. They conclude that someone who knows about her problem is taking advantage of that and made her kill that betting man (forgot name) for their own revenge.
