It's a confused situation---he does love Dusky to bits, but without the slightest hint of it being non-platonic.

Before that he tells he had never loved Dusky, loves Dusky or will love Dusky. He loves Maya.

So if both these statements are assumed to be true, the one possibility remains is the relation to Dusky from Arjun's side is sister.

The other possibility is like that of Meera's love to Krishna. It was one sided, yet it is said Krishna has accepted it, the way it was. She kind of remained Krishna's bride, but without marital bliss with him as though married she becomes a widow.

So does Arjun accepts Saanjh's love, but she might not get the place of his wife or marital bliss.

Second is a complicated one and selfish too. Because keeping her for you with hope is not right. Meera and Krishna lived in 2 different time periods so it was fine, but for people living in the same time period it looks unfair to Saanjh.
