Was Samay recreating the Maya - Ayaan incident ?

Okay so today's episode was good but this sudden redemption of Samay is hard to digest.

Let's see how CVs will play it out...I hope they do make sense of whatever they are planning to show.

Now coming to the precap..the way Samay was involved in a tussle with Maya , the way he was following Maya it looked very much similar to Ayaan-Maya tussle which happened that night...at least that is how it looked in the precap.

So, what exactly was Samay doing...was he trying to re-create what happened that night so that he could make a point in front of Arjun ?

Or was he simply manhandling Maya which to me doesn't make sense.

Let's see what will happen.
