I don't think I feel sympathy for any character in this show...

Those who are around her need some sympathy, in case they are not sensing the danger and hence unable to move away from her, in time!

Those who knew about her and still wanting to hang on there . . ., then it is their fate!

No. No sympathy for Maya. Maya is a criminal. Wairing for the day when she will be punished.
