what is Maya's past

From the beginning of the show they showed maya got beatings from her father but my question is they didn't clear it why ashwin hate maya... Why he used to beat maya... The property of maya is her self earned or her mother's (jhanvi's) parents property ...they didn't cleared anything

Maya's property, I believe, is her grandfather's property. That safeguard, put in her by grand father, ensured Ashwin had to tolerate her till she reached adulthood.

They've never quite explained Maya's sach, but there was a dialogue in the papers just prior to the time it was supposed to wrap up (the time when Maya went to prison), which said Maya had assaulted/killed a schoolmate of hers as a kid.

May be because he didn't love Jhanvi, so he refuses to accept Maya as daughter as Jhanvi is her mother?..
