Kareena Kapoor Khan: Saif Ali Khan was ready to change Taimur Ali Khan's name to Faiz
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's son Taimur has the paparazzi on their feet as they click his photos wherever he goes. Today, at an event, Kareena admitted that Saif was ready to change Taimur's name to Faiz.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's son Taimur Ali Khan's popularity knows no bounds; he is as famous as his superstar parents, if not more. The munchkin has the paparazzi on their feet as they click his photos wherever he goes.
However, when Taimur was born, Kareena and Saif were massively trolled for apparently naming their son after the cruel and ruthless Turco-Mongol conqueror Timur. Eventhough, Saif later clarified that the name Taimur hasn't got anything to do with the historic ruler, the backlash didn't seem to stop.
While speaking with senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai at the India Today Conclave 2018, Kareena said, "Saif was ready to change his name to Faiz but I was not going to succumb to public pressure; my son is Taimur, and will grow up to be, like his name, an Iron Man one day.''
That was quite a revelation!
Kareena also wrote a blog recently for a leading daily wherein she stated how lucky she has been to enter into the parenthood phase.
The actor revealed, "I remember some long days and nights, without much sleep. Some were frustrating, as I tried inexpertly to calm my crying child. Some were simply bliss as I treasured the new life that I had been able to bring into the world."
During an interaction with a leading magazine, Saif spoke about the attention Taimur receives from everyone and how it doesn't bother him much. Saif had stated, "Attention is a funny thing. The more you avoid it, the more chaos it creates."
He also said that he gets why the media wants to photograph Taimur. "Taimur is rather delectable, so I don't blame anyone. It's a price he has to pay for it, Saif had said.
