One of the other reason for driving viwers away can be that the standrard of the scenes decreasing.
When KN and Ragini were villains and there was negativity plotting and death traps and melodrama everything.
But there was a thin line of decency which cvs never dare to cross it.
But after Imli turned vamp,everything is changed.
And now with this leap,first week was about disusting cheap relationship of Imli and Ghumaan.
I don't think viwers able to put up with all these and the way Ghumaan's wife harassed by Ghumili which is disgusting to watch.
Why can't they write strong villain like KN again?
Is it necessary to make villains too cheap and third class.
Power struggles,hunger for money and jealousy,revenge all are enough to show a villain/vamp.
