IWL is not even in top 20 that too without any competition so probably the channel is planning to give udaan 7 pm slot.

But if they are waiting for Thursday trp than how will they promote new timings?

They can't wait for next week ratings. Show is wrapping shooting at Tuesday and if they will be waiting for Thursday and trp they won't have enough time to prepare for next week episodes in just three days. Also thy won't have time to promote new timing. I think either over the weekend or the latest at Monday we will know what finial decision about Udaan is. Even before news about going off air there were news about Colors considering change of time slot, so I think Udaan has high chances.

They won't end IMM so I think they will shift IWL to another time slot and give udaan 7 pm

TBH I didn't take TC article seriously, they often exaggerate and IWM article made it clear that isn't confirmed. The only confirmed news is that they asked the actors not to take up new offers.

I think the point of contention is the time slot, if they agree on one, the show will get an extension, otherwise it'll end.

I think they'll decide during weekend and we'll get confirmation on Monday at the latest, they have to do that before they wrap up shooting because if the show continues they'll have to rewrite the ending.

they should know whats actually happening before the slated final shoot day, which is tuesday, unless they are planning a new season with same cast. that way they wont have to change the climax they have planned to next fri.

waiting for next thurs makes no sense to me, i dont think thats the case, they need to give the cast, ph and writing team some time to prepare

lets see what they decide, but whatever happens, happens for the best

maybe ph and channel need to zero on a plot if extension happens and also leads have to agree to do it as well. we cant just like at what channel wants

If channel waiting for next ratings,it's possible that they will ask team to prepare one week story and actors to available for fri- sunday time.

Like they can take final verdict on thursday and team will start shooting from next 3 days for next mon- tues episodes.( it will take maximum 1.5 days for shooting one episode i guess).
