Kakeiy could not be solely blaimed for what happened after all, Manthra had poisoned her ears. Although she could ignore her, but still...

i would say its Kaal Chakra!! as the God wishes, things happens! so no1 can blame over these things eventhough we are all gifted with brain but as they say "Aaapt kale viprit buddhi!"...(hop its correct!!!

well it was destiny definitely who came to play in the form of manthara,
neglecting teh philosophy, it was def manthara
howvever as medhadi said, kaikeyi also had soem resposibility, it takes two t o tango
