This movie was watchable due to phenomenal acting of Shabana A and Jugal H. ⭐️

Why are they bringing sequel? IMO, this movie is not that great that it deserves a sequel.

This was one painful movie where Shabana and Jugal's characters went through a world of hurt for no fault of theirs.

Everytime I see the film, I just feel like adopting Jugal's character and giving him the world. Such a sweet, sweet, sweet character 😭

I seriously hope he is not going to make a sequel to have history repeat itself 😡 Dont ruin it, let it be. Shabana could actually reprise her role but none of the current actors have the innocence needed for Jugal's character. They need a cute looking 20 year old who can act exceptionally well. Mushkil hai aisa koi milna.

He has been wanting to make this sequel ever since Aishwarya-Abhishek were in demand couple.

Thank God, it didn't materialize then and hope it doesn't work out now. 😈

To me, it isn't such a bad idea.

It was Shekhar's first film as a director and I liked it, mainly the performances. I already knew Erich Segal's (who got fame with "Love Story") novel "Man, Woman, Child" which had many cinematic adaptations (among them the US movie 'Man, Woman, Child" with Martin Sheen and Shekhar's "Masoom").

A sequal 40 years later could make sense because the kids are adults now, most probably parents and Pinky could even be a young grandmom.

I guess, the story is close to his heart as he chose this subject for his first movie.

The novel has another ending than the movie which could also give scope for a sequal 40 years later...
