gambling is pretty much paying money and not sure if you are going to get anything back..and if you do get something back..you didnt work at all for that money
People have pretty explained it pretty well. All I want to say is that it was better you didn't know what it is but now that you what it is, Stay away from it. Not a good thing and once you get into it, it's impossible to get out until you lose everything. NOT a good thing at all. Not even for fun or jokes.
