UpMaaa conveniently forgot that Mawali Jhuli used to shame Kinjal the same way too. It is only after UpMaaa turned Kinjal into perfect doormat that Jhuli stopped abusing her. Kavya, Dimpy, Prarthana all faced some sort of harassment at the hands on Jhuli and UpMaaa has always covered up for this vile uncouth woman. No sympathy for Prerna though. This is the same girl who lusted after Rahi's husband after all the kindness she showed. And if Shruti had not clocked her obsession and kicked her out, she would have continued eyeing Prem. Then she latched onto useless Ansss at the first chance, even though the guy had no job or permanent income. She knew exactly what she was getting into and yet sang praises of TamaShahs. Let her learn now.
@Bold :
Seeing certain characters instantly triggers core memories of their most iconic, tragic moments. Take Dumpy, for instance. Watching her reminds me of that glorious moment she received a resounding slap from the "Eternal Slap Queen," Badi Upmaa, during the Malti Devi track for dropping truth bombs on the TamaShah's. Let’s not forget that #SamPle were fired by Malti Devi solely due to the sweet, loving interventions of the ever-so-vile Badi Upmaa.
Of course, Samar being belittled was a daily ritual. He wasn't just degraded by TrashRaj, but also by his favorite, highly accomplished siblings, Doshu and Makkhi. #SamPle were absolutely right to accept Malti Devi’s offer. After all, working under Malti Devi gave Samar the golden opportunity to work under Malti Devi and learn from her.
Dumpy was an absolute delight in that scene. She brutally roasted the entire TamaShah clan. Her taunts toward #CrinDosh were pure poetry, accurately labeling Crinjal as "Badi Upmaa 2.0" and reminding the MBA gold medalist Doshu of his thriving career in unemployment. It was during this stellar track that Samar bestowed upon Doshu the ultimate, well-deserved title: a complete loser.
Honestly, Dumpy missed a great opportunity to hit Badi Upmaa back with a domestic violence case, because mother-in-laws do not have a legal license to assault their daughter-in-laws. Dumpy deserves a standing ovation for dropping those truth bombs on the TamaShah's. Aside from Crinju Baby’s mother, she was the only character during Malti Devi track with the actual guts to roast that circus.
The writers certainly possess a unique talent for transforming characters like Crinju Baby, Dumpy, and "Parasite" Prerna into absolute doormats just to keep the toxic TamaShah circus running. First, Crinju Baby gets subjected to Badi Upmaa’s brilliant "Baa vs Boss" sermon, where she drops the disgusting golden rule that elders are allowed to be completely wrong, but you must never backtalk them—clearly referencing her own abusive parents, #JhulMukh. Then, after successfully sabotaging #SamPle’s careers and ruining their livelihoods, the vile and cruel mother Badi Upmaa shows her peak maternal warmth by screaming at Dumpy to pack her bags and get out of the TamaShah shanty. To top it off, "Parasite" Prerna is forced to swallow her pride and apologize to Jhuli Mawali even though she did absolutely nothing wrong. It is truly remarkable how the writers ensure that no matter how much dignity a character starts with, they must ultimately bow down to the local bullies.
