@beanstalk04 it's a costume drama they're collaborating for

Lu Yuxiao and Zhang Linghe are two of my favorite Chinese actors.

I don't mind if they're doing a costume drama together.

I thought Lu Yuxiao looked absolutely adorable in Love in the Clouds.

I haven't watched the drama yet.

I've only seen a few scenes but I really like her voice, and I think she's very expressive.

As for Zhang Linghe, costume dramas are definitely his strongest genre.

If this drama is based on a novel, please recommend it to me. I'd much rather read the novel first.

If I had read the Overdo novel before watching the drama, I probably wouldn't have been so upset by Murong Qingyi's ending, because the drama version actually turned out to be a green flag.

To me, Ren Susu felt more like the red flag. She never spoke up when it mattered, and that silence caused one disaster after another.

But after reading the summary you shared about the novel, I feel that if someone reads the novel first and then watches the drama, the drama's ending probably wouldn't feel nearly as frustrating

The male lead is Jung Hae-in, one of my favorite Korean actor.

I absolutely loved his performance in one Spring Night.

Because of him, I ended up watching Snowdrop too... and that drama also had a tragic ending.

The emotional damage was real

I have only seen him in While You Were Sleeping, where he was the 2nd lead.

I am more interested in Flex x Cop S2; it is also releasing the same day.

WYWS is one of my fav dramas of all times.

Yeah, it is a bit unserious police drama, where ML is a rich chaebol who becomes a police officer to solve cases. ML is Ahn Bo-hyun; I like this actor, almost watched all his dramas.

Lu Yuxiao looked her best in My Journey To You and Love in the Clouds. If you want to see her versatility, you could watch clips from Blossoms in Adversity. She looked good in Perfect Match also but I strongly dislike Tang styling so I'd rate that look lower than her other looks

I feel like the writers read the novel, saw how much of a pain Murong Qingyi is, and doubled the pain in return to him in the drama

I can remember the names of Chinese actors quite easily, but I can never seem to remember the names of Korean actors..

I don't remember much but FL ,(chef)was hired to cook for ML later lot of development happens she get close to his nephew and later she opens her own restaurant or something like this
