I told you the other day..he wore so much makeup in the best thing also..both him and cheng lei love to paint their face white

Pretty good! The second half doesn't focus on the leads much but the overall story is good. From the same director as Pursuit of Jade.

It's rebirth, not time travel

It's a curse in China that when an actor does a role, they get cast in the same roles again and again. It takes actors ages to break that chain. If you observe closely Zhang Linghe gets cast in borderline red flag roles. Even the too good to be true He Suye is manipulative at the core

And Xu Ruohan always has an ex whom she can't get over in her dramas. Do I need to take a better example than The Best Thing?

Yes, the novel spent a good 100+ chapters on the female lead's 9yo to teenage development. I didn't have that much patience to read at that time....

I watched the first two episodes today. Leprechaun, had discussed the novel of this drama in a post, so that’s what we were discussing.

It’s a rebirth story. The actress from The power of blossom is the same actress in this one..
