Sitaji is known by many epithets.As the daughter of king Janaka she is called Janaki.As the princess of mithila she is called Mythili or Maithili.As the wife of Raama she is called Ramaa.Her father janaka had earned the sobriquet "videha" due to his ability to transcend body conciousness.Sita is therefore also known as Vaidehi.
