I love him but...plz help

I have a friend and I love him alot more than my life...its been 3 yrs we are friends....last year we met at common friend's house and we ended up kissing and hugging...but then i dont know what happened we went totally out of touch...and few months back we again got in touch...i dont regret loving him or anything...but he never talked abt what happened between us and neither i did...i dont know what to do...I dont know if he loves me or not...plz help😭
