The serial by sagars don't even mention about her but movies on Ramayan have showed her prominently, some yrs back a movie was made on Lav-Kush in hindi starring Jeetendra as Ram; in which the character of Shanta was shown prominently.
Also in southern movies on Ramayan Shanta is shown, in fact its shown that she even advises Ram to get married again after Sita has been banished, ofcourse Ram denies it.

yes but actually we get diff stories related to her too...

like in Ravan serial they showed she accepted proposal for father n sacrificed her life..

some article say dashrath came to knew abt her when she entered ayodhya with rishi for yagya....

Then I heard on Tv that shanta was Dashrath n sumitras daughter not kaushalya....

only conclusion is:

Ramji had a sister name shanta who sacrificed life for family... and this main fact is not yet popular.... dont know why sagars skipped this main one.

Yes there is. But there is no mention of Rishi Shring pressurizing Shanta for marriage as shown in the serial Ravan. There is mention of her adoption by king Romapada
