Hey everyone...just wanted to let you know that this isn't directly from Ramayan but related to Shree Ram topic!!!!

I don't know how many of you have watched the Sagar's Krishna, wherein they show an episode of Krishna Leela!!! The young Krishna (played by the same kid who played Kush in Old Ramayan) meets a Kubja in Mathura, this is right before he destroys Kansa. Lord Krishna tells the Kubja that she is not beautiful due to a curse in one of her previous births.

Lord Krishna goes onto say something like during his avtaar as Shree Ram in Treta yug, she (Kubja) was an ardent devotee of Shree Ram & that she had done Tapasya, which she will be able to have the fruits in serving Him in the Dwapar yug (obviously Shree Krishna time)!!!!!

Now my question basically is does ne1 know who the Kubja is supposed to be during the Treta yug, cuz at first I kept thinking it was Manthara, b/c of the whole Kubja thing!!!!! but I ruled that out since Shree Krishna did say that she was an ardent devotee of his during the Treta yug!!!! I maybe wrong...but if ne1 knows who she was in the Treta yug period please reply, since i'm so anxious to know!!!!!!

thanx guys...it was a long shot...but I thought that there might be some relevance to Ramayan!!! Just didn't know for sure!!! But thanx guys!!!!

This is just a guess, but is there a possibility the Kubja was Shabari? I don't know, but she was the first woman that came to my mind.

I don't know much about her.

What i got is,,

Kubja

A hunchback woman of Mathura employed as a seller of fragrant ointments. Attracted to Krishna when He entered Mathura, she happily agreed to supply Him ointment without payment and applied it to His body. As a reward Krishna transformed her into a beautiful young lady. Krishna later visited her home along with Uddhava.
