While the general economic trend is down beat, we are all pitching in from our HR department to come up with solutions to spread some cheer around. We have thought of gifting something useful as a token of our appreciation (not too expensive though) to keep the morale high and to ensure that those who are putting in more hours to keep the business afloat know that the organization is supportive and their worth will be duly recognized and compensated. So do help me get those golden ideas that will best meet our objective.
To refresh minds at work guess a small party with some fun games will be great and also you can give special prize for the best performer. This will motivate people to give their best. Gifts like chocolate baskets, certificates, cash or gadgets like digital table clock or may be an iPod will definitely bring back the spirit 😉

I agree with alicejones... you can keep some targets and exiting gifts like shopping vouchers etc., to those who meet the target... target should be changing as co requirements.....
Considering that the person has spent time away from family to be in office, how about a 'dinner for 2' in a 5 star hotel? They will enjoy the time together and the ambiance to remember for a long time. Hotel gift vouchers wouldn't cost much and would be classy too!
How about some useful electronic products? Employees would love it! I personally like a branded music player. I wish my employer would treat us with a music player for the rocking sales we had this year...
Both Rahul and Alice came up with the idea of iPods and music players. I just referred this website to my company for corporate gifting, they offer corporate discounts: http://www.ipodyourlife.co.in/?channel=forum Hope this helps: 😃
Thanks for the link DHemal. I was just hoping to find something trawling the net for some gifting ideas for my employees. Will definitely go through the link. Hope it meets my needs of a perfect gift.
