I watched Saawariya again last night and could't help but not notice similarities between New Moon and Saawariya!
I am NOT comparing the two, as in which one is better, I jsut can't help but notice the SIMILARITIES!
Raj (Jacob) becomes friends with Sakina (Bella) who is depressed after her lover Imaan (Edward) has left her. Raj (Jacob) falls in love with her, and tries to woo her, but Sakina (Bella) is very much loyal towards Imaan (Edward) and only loves him. Even though for a while Sakina (Bella) thought she loved Raj (Jacob), but still in the end, her love for Imaan (Edward) surpasses all.
In the end Raj (Jacob) gave up and sacrificed for Sakina (Bella).
Now the only major difference was that in saawariya Raj (Jacob) could not find his Renesesme!
