Dear fellow Ramayan Forum members,

One thing, among many others, that brings us all together is our love for the epic Ramayan, and our love for our holy puranas in general. We have many scholars here, and many who have read and studied the scriptures. This is one of the rare forums where religious discussions take place. That's why I know that many of you will listen to my plea.

You see, along with the Ramayana, I also love the Mahabharata epic a lot, and having such a wonderful Ramayan forum here, I went in search of a Mahabharat Forum somewhere, but there is none except Kahaani Humaaray Mahabhaarat Ki Forum or Jai Shri Krishna Forum.

Jai Shri Krishna is a really great serial directed by Meenakshi Sagar, and the forum is good too, but I didn't feel we could discuss the full extent of the Mahabharata epic there.

As we all know, Kahaani Humaaray Mahabhaarat Ki can hardly count as a mythological serial, because it is nothing more than another Ekta Kapoor Soap Opera insulting the holy Mahabharat Epic, but also, there is barely any participation in that forum, so why should we let is waste forum space by just sitting there?

So I got an idea of turning that forum into a Mahbharat Epic Forum instead of KHMK Forum.

Why don't we discuss the Mahabharata there? It would be fun and interesting, and with all of your participation, we can get to know a lot of knowledge about the Mahabharata like we do the Ramayana.

OFCOURSE tht forum is there for the discussion of mahabharath ,may b not many memebrs wanna b going there as ekta made a mockery out of the whole show ,but for the discussion of mahabharat tht is the best place !!!!

soon there will b another mahabharat forum at the star plus section when star wud b airing their mahabharat produced by bobby bedi !!!!

well i don't know much abt the stories of mahabharat & bahgvad puran !!!

I have read Mahabharat. I have also read various puranas in which stories related to Mahabharat are there. Therefore, start a thread in that forum and let me know about it. I will participate.

ur idea is great and really we learn more from all these discusiions

Long back I visited that Forum ....

but frankly speaking Ramayan Forum is the best place and its like we are at home ...

well we can start on Jai Krishna Forum also ... its out of Ekta stuff...

and another cool land of vishnuji ...

True; then do you think we can create one thread in this forum in which any discussion on Mahabharat can happen? Then frequency in this forum won't decrease.

ofcourse it will b a realistic mahabharat not the animated one,

bobby bedi has roped in the great director chandra prakash diwedi to direct it ,chandra prakash diwedi is a great director ,he is a Phd in history & he was the one who directed & produced the genius show in the television history ---the chanakya !!!! so we all can rely on the mahabharat by bobby bedi !!!!

i think we shud disuss ramayan & the stories related wid different gods in this ramayan forum

discussing pandavas & the hard core mahabharat discussions shud not b done over here !!!

for mahabharat discussions jai shri krishna & kahani humare mahabharat ki forums r there !!!! its just my opinion !!!!
