edward and his family leaves forks, and bella. because jasper, edward's brother almost killed bella after she got a papere cut. edward thinks that his family is a threat to her so he and his family leaves. then bella only way of escape and salvation is her friend jacob black. this book basically deals with bella's depression and her coping with the loss of edward. i won't tell you anyting more. but its a happy ending
