thats was such a *bump* on AS account... how on earth could he have said that.. besides it is not even true.. you cannot just compare Lucky Ali's voice with Paresh... They both sang well.. but whether paresh was better... i have my doubts!

I thought that he sang the song well, so Aadesh made a comment big deal!! He spoke what he felt was true, and I did not see anyone disagree with him

I heard Lucky Ali sing the song on stage at the Asha Bhosle concert and
some other time as well and believe me he was besura. I am not saying this
to pick a fight. I was just shocked that a professional singer could get away
with this. I thought that the songs of Sur were nice but I just don't think that
Lucky Ali is a very competent singer. Maybe I have not heard enough of his
good stuff and it is not personal, I thought his dad was funny!

Let us say, Lucky Ali sang 1 on a scale of 10. That makes Paresh singing 1000 on the same scale. 😲

Now, why doesn't the duffer keep picking his favorite singer's songs all the way 😕

Who knows by the time the show ends he might be singing 1 zillion times Lucky 🤔

Still, one thing puzzles me. What if even zillion times of Lucky ends up just 1.5 or two on music's general scale of 10.

yes paresh sang definitely better than lucky ali bcz when u compare the tonal quality n the expressions of both u can make it out Paresh has a combination of strength n sweetness in his voice while luvky ali's voice is throughout husky in the song. secondly in lucky's song the expression of madhoshi in very much evident but the i think he has overdone with the sensuality of the words whereas when paresh sang, thr was that madhoshi, love, hope n n the sweet feeling of being in love - all of them very evident. the third point is that in just half the song he set up a romantic mood all around which made him better.
i just want to say that ppl who were praising AS till yesterday for the master n musical mind he is r now perhaps doubting him. plz do not shake ur faith just bcz u hate sumone.

I in paresh's place would have stood up and objected to AS and made it clear that I hadn't chosen the song because I wanted to have you, Sir, say that I sang better than my favorite singer Lucky Ali. 😭
