yes sumitra was mahaan she devote herself and her kids and daughter-inlaw to raghukul

i agree as well, because laxman-urmi scene before the vanvas is one of the main part of Ramayana, as Laxman tells Urmila to never shed a tear in the next 14 years and do seva of both matas.
I ahve heard that Urmila plays a huge role in ramayan, thus, none of the writers have the word to describe her character. I have also heard that she was Lord Ram's bhakt (devotee)
