Doctor tells Gopal that she will tell Jeya that the baby was still born - " I have spoken to the orphanage, u can take the baby to that place later. I have never done a thing like this in my career, unga nalla gunam..Nandy life...athaan..." Gopal is happy. Jeya comes running ( ennamma, porandachaa??? Kovil prakaaram ellam suthamaa eye juice aale alambi vittiyaa???) and asks about Nandy. Gopal says that Nandy is fine and the baby was still born - now Jeya decides to wash the hospital corridor. But Gopal takes her inside Nandy's room - " antiseptic aa irukkanum, clean aa irukkanum, Jeya..go ahead ... - Jeya obliges Roja. Gopal takes the infant to the orphanage. The manager has been briefed by Dr.Vimala. Admission formalities get over in a jiffy and Gopal signs the documents. The manager for her part pities Gopal, Nandy and Jeya's plight. The baby is safe.
Gopal comes back home to find Jeya washing the house with her eye juice ( amma di, antha tank enge irukku??? Kamadhenu mathiri vathave illai??? Madras le thanni kashtam unnale thaanaa??) Jeya says that God has punished them for their devious intention -'we wanted to abort that child, athan .." Gopal says that God has done this with a reason -" to save Nandy's life " Well, back and forth arguments on why that baby should die and finally Gopal says that they need to concentrate on getting Nandy back to being a simple wooden face - "namakku, viewers kku ellarukkum zombie wooden face bore adikkuthu" The busybodies of the neighborhood come and dukkam visarichufying - incidentally lend crying support to Jeya - " thaniya veedu clean panna mudiyalai, need more eye juice nnu paper le ad kuduthingalaa, Gopal??" The ladies ask about Mr. Nandy ( ayyo, avar wooden face paarka mudiyame Odii ttar, paava patta Laksh, Roja and Nithya - Oda mudiyalai !!) and express their displeasure at the deserting. Now Gopal lends support to Jeya - to empty the glycerin tank - generally laments about his "kayyal aaga thanam" and vows to kill the guy who brought Nandy to this state. Jeya vetoes any such thought - even if we see him, we should not touch him"
To the present - narration to Kalyaani - Gopal says that the doctor was giving shock treatments " me and Jeya took her to all kovils." Zombie does zombie walk with Jeya and Gopal. But Jeya uses her knees to walk ( ennada kashtam?? Aboorva Sahodarargal Kamal mathiri , she was walking !!) She says that this is the final prayer -" if God does not make Nandy plain wooden face.. no more temples " As luck would have it, Jeya slips and rolls down ( knee walking gets converted to body rolling !!!) zombie looks at that.... time for conversion - yes, we will be treated to plain wooden face from now on - Zombie gone.... yeeeyyyyy yippeeeee

Sai Kalyani in the O.T - has visions of Jeya emptying the glycerin tank....all blah.. blah..her hands shake - decides to skip the surgery. Calls the other doctor , Shantha and asks her to take over - O.T le oru paava patta jenmam is under anaesthesia - Shantha doctor amma is singing Kalyani ashtothram !!! Kalyani says that she is under a lot of stress and her hands are trembling -"Sai Kalyanikku trembling aa??? enna yya athisayam??' Roja frets - "porum doctor amma, apram vanthu nithanamaa poojai pannalaam, muthalle antha pOnnai gavaninga " - Sai Kalyani reads Roja's mind - sends the vambi doctor in to the O.T - habbaaaa Roja heaves a sigh of relief !!!!
