Rajbir's mom wants to appear good and nice ..she is playing games..she is recruiting Varinda and pretending to like Priyanka. It can be possible she is scared of annoying Rajbir and lacks guts to stand up aganist him. Many mothers in male dominated homes are scared displeasing of their sons.

I have a mom-in-law who is an ex-headmistress. She is not loud mouthed but still she is confident. Dont confuse confidence with being loud mouthed. Hitty mom is nothing but loud mouthed. A woman who is so cunning as to make the girls whom the boys showed some interest to clean the bathroom knowing that they will do a good job to impress the boys' mother is not so progressive. The woman thinks that only she can take informed decisions about who should go out but not the young brides. Hello woman, these girls are going to run someone's homes. If they cannot take decisions how would they do so? I am sure she would keep the woman her son marries under her thumb.

Priyanka called Hitesh's Mom a politician. Well, boo hoo. Now we have folks going all "Ooh! Priyanka called her a politician on TV. How rude?" IMHO Politician is not an offensive word. If so Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Advani etc must be etrenally offended. And btw, I noticed in some earlier posts that Sudesh Rani Chauhan is indeed an actual real life politican. https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/perfect-bride/1261486/mrs-sudesh-rani-chauhan-in-news She's been the vice president of some party called Chandigarh Vikas Manch. So being a politican is her career.

Pooja will be very lucky to get Hitesh's mom or mother in law.

Hitesh's mom is very open minded, doesn't believe in meaningless ritual and will give Pooja lots of space and freedom. In an earlier episode said she wants her son to respect his in-laws as much as he respect his own parents.

Most of other moms will try to keep their daughter in laws under control.

If they go out, the show will be finished with old fashioned mummies who look older than their age and have no personalities.

I totaly agree with you---She will be a coool sasu ma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
