i hate this thing in India how you should apologize to the person older than you even if they where wrong.

Case point Gurpreet and Yash's mom.

I think that Yash's mother should of also apologized. She was in the wrong for insulting Gurpreet all this time, it was good that Gurpreet apologized but the real apology should of come from his mother.

why should she have apologized. what did she ever say to gurpreet that demanded an apology? i read over and over about how yash' mom insulted gurpreet blah blah blah blah....and i sit there thinking am i watching the same show?

i have never seen her insult gurpreet. she just plain and simple said that i don't see you as my bahu.....thats it! so why does she need to apologize for that?

Haaaaaaaaaa .....u gotto be kidding me .....why shud she apologize ?? gurpreet apologized cuz she cud see yash going against her ......and otehrs tooo .......she didnt mean a word .........u cud make out frm her face!!!! i wud hav agreed if gurpreet wud have not created such ruckus yesrerday .........but then when she gave everything back or i shud say .....she gave back double to yash's mom .....for watever yashu's mon said to gurpreet ......so cuz of mere fake apologizing on teh part of gurpreet ......yashu's mom shud apologize ........?????? wat a joke !!!😆

oh yea, i remember how yash's mom was maligning Gurpreet saying...."Bilkul BEWAKOOF hai woh".........don't miss out the details, guys. Yash's mom should know that she's not supposed to use such derogatory terms for people....no matter how much she dislikes them.

Gurpreet apologized to Yash's mom for her rude behavior, cool enough.......but it woulda been more fair if Yash's mom had also apologized to Gurpreet for all of her discouraging acts towards her. That wouldn't hurt, right??? No one becomes smaller by apologizing, especially if one's at fault and it's quite apparent. That applies to Gur and Yash's mom, both!

Gurpreet apologized coz Shekhar asked her to, not because she was apologetic😛

Shekhar did not ask Momma Yash to apologize, thats why she did not. Simple!!😉

MITTIJALEBI & BUGGER...... i am sorry but i am not brought up to live with such an insult and I think when Gurpreet said sorry, Yash's mom also could say that she is also sorry for whatever went on between them....... if Gurpreet didnt mind it saying (even if it was just a TV thing----some may say that)..... Yash's mom could do that too...... but anyways, many people just like you two may still think that Gurpreet was wrong........... Even though I think she was not wrong.... and I think she said sorry, that was ok..... but it should have come from both sides..... RAJNI.D I agree with you.... thanks for starting this topic.........

i don't understand a thing tht people here in forum keep saying tht yash's mom insulted gurpreet over and over but i never find an episode where she insulted gurpreet. Is disapproving gurpreet or calling her bewkoof is an insult? may be her way of saying things can be wrong but i don't think tht she is wrong totally.

one more thing in yesterday's episode nobody gave a chance to yash's mom to speak. gurpreet cut her off two times. in this way gupreet also insulted yash's mom besides the crap she said. in this way she has taken the revenge when she said to yash's mom tht "apni baat keh di aur chale gaye". so i think both are equally wrong on their part and as sunandshine said tht Gurpreet apologized coz shekhar asked her to, not because she was apologetic and shekhar did not ask yash's mom to apologize, thats why she did not.

.....i think u didnt read my post thouroghly ....i mentioned tht gurpreet gave back more than double wat Y's mom told her ........by mere apologizing which was done cuz she was asked tooo ........i dun think it is any reason for Y's mom to apologize!! pehle post thik se pado ,,,,phir bolo!!

-she's and idiot
-i don't want in intercaste rishta
-insulting her
-telling her to leave and get pooja and nanidta instead

this isn't insulting and something to apologize for?!!! sure glad i don't live in your little world where this is acceptable

Truth always hurts😆Not allowing someone to complete their sentences and butting in between when two people are talking (Momma Yash and Shekhar) is not a charecteristic of a person with good manners. Shekhar had to tell her to keep quiet so Momma yash can talk!
