Best thing about Basera is the issue that they are raising, the suffering of parents by their children. Though I am not liking the character sketched out for Keshu's younger son and the circumstances created to show him completely black. They could have done it in a more subtle way, like we see people around us. Like they have shown Sachin and Manda's younger son, he left his parents to suffer citing his career demands. That happens in lot of families. There they hit it realistically. In the similar way where they have shown Shantanu's father refusing his marriage to Nandini. Somewhere Mehul's character too looks real, not his wife's. I hope they show the things more realistically if dealing with real life issues of day to day lives.
