If Edward had potential 'love' interest in Eclipse

I was just wondering what kind of affect it will have on Bella if Edward had a potential love interest in Eclipse, suppose Tanya comes back and is flirting with Edward.

When Bella hugs Jacob in front of Edward, she thinks of it as just a hug but it might be hurtful to Edward.

If she saw Tanya hug Edward, then what how would Bella react?

She got jealous by just hearing about Tanya, do you think seeing her with Edward will give her a better perspective on how she treated Edward and Jacob in Eclipse.Could you imagine what it would be like if Tanya had, indeed, showed up to hang around, to woo Edward away from Bella?

Thats an intresting way to see the story. Even during breaking dawn, the reaction of bella before seeing tanya was a bit too jealous.

Donning the shoes she makes someone else wear will obviously make her see sense lot more clearly than she see's it now.

There is a possibility that Bella might get jealous of her....but when you said that when Bella hugged Jake, as a friend, it was only for Bella that way, and Edward can hear Jake's mind so I think he was more than hurt as in midnight sun, when he saw in Mike's thought about Bella he really got Jealous....Awww poor Edward he must be feeling awful at that time !!!!!

Anyway this was supposed to be about Bella....so I think its a psychological thing...and she would have felt same as Edward did....I mean obviously, just by the name of Tanya she had a bad mood so obviously to watch her with Edward that way...must be more than that !!!
