I am sorry but I disagree....Santu is the only Nani Nandini has ever known....Subhi is dead and gone....Santu is living and that is what matters. Dead grandmas are less helpful than real ones.
Mahanta is good, but an overdose sometimes turns into stupidity....
I am not saying one should not remember dead people...but I feel it is important to deal with them in life and form a bond in order to miss them...you can not be close to a grandma who you have never known, especially if you have a living one.....If Santu was not there then the picture would suffice, not otherwise....
