~DOTW: 'Eclipse', the ribbon~

Hey Twi-hards! I am back once again..with another discussion but this one is on Eclipse than New Moon.

So here it is:

What do you think is the significance of the title 'Eclipse', along with the torn ribbon on the cover, in relation to the book?

My thoughts

I'd call this a sun eclipse because (googled it because i forgot what an eclipse was 😆) if figuartively speaking Edward is the moon, Bella the Earth and Jake the sun, then basically a sun eclipse would be Edward getting inbetween of Bella and Jake. Bella has to choose between the two guys but she knows that she loves Edward more so the shadow of the moon is cast on her which blocks the sun.

As for the torn ribbon, well...as i'v said before, in this book, Bella has to choose between Jake and Ed so she knows that if she chooses one, she'll have to break ties with the other and obviously, it'd cause conflict.

Those are my POVs. Tell me yours!!

MY THOUGHTS!!

First I think Jake keeps getting the wrong impression from Bella and he needs to keep his lips to him self. Also Sure he gets the wrong impression but there is no need to try to break her up with her True love and literally force her into believing she has feelings for him. For Me Edward never came in between them because first there was NEVER a Them and second Jacob was the one who caused Bella to have second thoughts on Edward which she at the end knew had no point of wasting time at. Also Jacob just would NOT take the hint that she was not interested but ends up emotionally black-mailing her about 'killing him self'. Like What was the whole 'I am Done' Drama. Like Seriously dude you two have nothing together what are you done with. Also Sure Edward should not of told Jacob about the Marriage like that but what Jacob does is nothing better. And Jacob had to know about the marriage some time so who cares. Anyways the ribbon I agree with Jot.
