Aasiya kazi the lead female protagonist of imagine's BANDINI is not yet nineteen..yet she feels she has lived a lifetime in the one year ten months she has spent so far doing bandini. Laughs aasiya I came to sets at seventeen years of age ..in the past year and more I spent almost all my waking hours with my bandini co stars ..sometimes i forget i'm not really santu..you could say i''ve developed a split personality somewhat..but jokes aside the other day we shot this interview sequence in which santu says her identity is that of dharamraj's bandini. and when i said this i suddenly realised its true it is this show in which i am the bandini that gave me my identity..In fact sometimes the director shouts CUT and it takes a while to snap out of it. We are human after all..there are feelings there are emotions..you have to build it up inside you and feel it for it to show on screen..in that sequence DM tells santu not to worry to look into the frame and speak..and unit people told us this is what RR actually said to aasiya on her first day of shoot..aasiya refused to comment only said Ronitji is my friend philosopher & guide..in fact i emote best when he's in front of me because he corrects me if I'M not doing it well..so i'm used to that..i feel comfortable that way....ALL THE best AASIYA from all of us here at LEHREN for a bright & exciting future ahead may you go from strength to strength & may lots of laurels come your way 😃
