This lady does not now when to stop, I have a younger sister and if I found her asleep with my husband I would kill her happily.Devyani your character is like a stereotypical women in India. No offence I live in Italy and shows like this give me such percepitions. This show is very nice love to watch it though

Devyani did try explaining to Uttara not once but a few times and she did it just like any responsible elder sister who loves her younger sister would do. It was Uttara who refused to listen. Devyani's character is potrayed as a woman with dignity (and they exist everywhere in the world, even India) who has endured a lot and is mature enough when to realize that it is futile to bang her head against a brick wall. So she decided to let Uttara learn from her own mistakes since she cannot convince her and Brahma is adding fuel to the fire by encouraging Uttara to teach Devyani a lesson.

yeah i agree with you. Devyani need to speak up and curse Uttara 😡. she doesn't deserve to be a sister anymore.

OK.AND WHY would you happily kill your sister ,not your husband? after all U has not raped the fellow-it WAS a consensual relationship-so why not kill the erring male? I hate it when women will fault the woman ONLY.I think all THREE-U,B and Devyani are TOTALLY despicable characters.IF anybody has to be shot why not all three?
Look at the sheer number of lives that Dev.has ruined in her vain efforts to save the so called maryada of the family name--is that forgivable or even believable?! Criminal behavior on her part-she is unhappy in her marriage so she knows what THAT feels like,YET she had no qualms in sentencing young girl and her OWN son to a similarly horrendous life.

Also,please do not assume that ANY soap/serial is a reflection of the truth...Don't make sweeping generalizations about Indian women based on a SOAP! Sorry if I'm coming across a bit harsh-please don't take offense
